Established in 1927, Kauno miku ir aplinkos ininerijos kolegija (Kaunas Forestry and Environmental Engineering University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the medium city of Kaunas (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Lietuvos Respublikos vietimo ir mokslo ministerija (Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania), Kauno miku ir aplinkos ininerijos kolegija (KMAIK) is a very small coeducational Lithuanian higher education institution. Kauno miku ir aplinkos ininerijos kolegija (KMAIK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
